Nintendo’s latest mobile game, Dr Mario World, released today on iOS and Android devices. In a Candy Crush style game, players must eliminate bacteria by lining up the appropriate pills associated with them. It’s color matching, but the gameplay is entertaining with familiar characters and rewarding puzzles.
Those with Nintendo Accounts may wish to link the account to their game. The main advantage of linking the two is that players can access their game from multiple devices. If you have the game on your iPhone and want to play it on your iPad, you won’t repeat levels with a linked account.
In addition, you can safely save your game data.
So how exactly do you link the accounts?
Linking accounts is relatively straightforward once you find the button. To start the process, click on the settings gear on the left side of the screen (in the red circle in this image).
This section is probably where the confusion lies. Most games, even Nintendo’s, have a “link accounts” button somewhere in their settings menu. Instead, players should access the feature through the big red âSave Save Dataâ button in the center of the screen.
Clicking on the red button launches this screen. From there, press the green “Link” button.
If you’re on iOS like me, you’ll see this familiar pop-up. I imagine Android devices send you a similar message. Tap Continue and you will be redirected to the Nintendo website. Log in or create an account. Once logged in, select the account and confirm.
Congratulations, your accounts are now linked and you can access your game file on multiple devices!
