Square Enix announced via the North American Twitter account Kingdom Hearts Dark Road that the update of the offline version of the title was delayed for an unforeseen period following the addition of a significant scenario. Well, the Japanese region of this account announced this delay last month, so this announcement is just repeating itself for Western fans. Given the series’ 20th anniversary event next month, it’s likely more news will arrive then, if not before, as a nice surprise.
You can view the Kingdom Hearts Dark Road North American Twitter account acknowledging the mobile game delay below. Additionally, the new images featured in the Japanese version of the post have also received official translations.
