‘Lego Star Wars’ Digital Sales Were Almost As Big As ‘Elden Ring’

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagathe launch of was almost as big as Ring of Eldenwith digital sales reaching over 60%.

As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga saw a 61% increase in sales at digital download stores, which almost matches Ring of Eldensuccessful digital and physical launch.

This makes the latest Lego title “the second biggest game launch of the year in the UK” and the best-selling Lego game in history.

Xbox was the most popular platform for Lego Star Warsaccounting for 41% of sales, while PlayStation accounted for 34%, PC 18% and Nintendo Switch 7%.

However, when considering physical sales, PlayStation was the most dominant platform with 39% of sales, followed closely by Xbox at 34%, Nintendo Switch at 16% and PC at 11%.

Other games featured in the top digital sales for the week ending April 10 include FIFA 22, Auto grand theft 5, NBA 2K22, Red Dead Redemption 2, F1 2021, Tiny Tina’s: Wonderland, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Editionand grand theft auto online.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition would sell better on Nintendo Switch with a total of 44% of sales, then on PS4 with 31%, on PC with 15% and on Xbox at 11%.

In NME’s four-star review on Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker SagaJordon Oloman said, “As a great park for star wars Fans, The Skywalker Saga hits all the right notes with its hilarious writing, audiovisual wonder, and tons of content to explore. However, its poor co-op implementation and unnecessary complexity cause problems, though you can quite comfortably look past these issues (which in some cases can be fixed) in favor of its more complicated open world.
