Splatoon 3 looks great and all, but admittedly some fans feel like they’ve seen a lot of it already. Many are worried about how “new” the next entry will be, and if you feel the same way, you might want to keep reading.
In an update, Nintendo’s German Twitter page supposedly promised there was more to come. As highlighted by social media and GameXplaina tweet from the same account mentions that there are “new modes and more” coming to Splatoon 3. Keep in mind that this is based on a rough translation.
It should be noted that this same tweet was featured on Nintendo’s Dutch Twitter account late last month. And that translation also suggested that “new modes and more” were on the way to Splatoon 3.
While new modes in a new entry aren’t exactly a surprise, it would still come as a relief to anyone who was beginning to worry that the third game was too similar to the previous entry, or at the very least ease the worries.
The most recent mode announced for Splatoon 3 was Salmon Run – a returning mode. Datamines also revealed some modes for Splatoon 2 that didn’t make the cut, so maybe Nintendo will add those ideas to the third game.
